Philosophy
“This past summer I was given the task of designing and building an addition to a home in Aptos, California. From the beginning I worked closely with the owners, formulating their ideas on paper, researching building codes, employing my own ideas until, finally, the plans were approved by the county. This particular building site was located on a steep hillside behind the existing house. Because of these conditions, much engineering and forethought were required to keep costs down and to maximize space. Completed in late summer, it is presently being used by a psychotherapeutic cooperative as an office and counseling room. As was the case with this latest project, I feel fortunate in having worked, and carried out designs for persons who insist on a combination of functional as well as aesthetically pleasing concepts. This work has often given me great satisfaction; it is work in which I have taken much pride.” — David Parks, November 1976

“Things haven't changed very much since I began my business over 25 years ago. I continue to work closely with clients on their projects in order to assure that the finish product reflects who they are, their lifestyles and their desires. The underlying mission of my company is to always remember who it is we serve and have our work reflect our commitment to them. We constantly strive to improve what it is that we do. I believe that our work and our reputation is a product of that commitment!"  — David Parks, February 2005
